bhaji puri ( aaloo ki bhaji aur poori )

halwa poori or puri bhaji is common street breakfast food in India as well as in Pakistan . lets take a look . just make it in your kitchen . 



cooking time : 15 minutes  
preparation time : 15 minutes
serve:  5   

ingredients :

potato peeled chopped         2
salt to taste 
chopped green chillies           3
chick pea                                  1 cup boiled 
onion                                 1 finely chopped 
tamarind paste                   1/2 cup
ginger garlic paste               2 tbsp
garam masala               1 tsp
nigella seeds               1/2 tsp
crushed cumin                1 tbsp
green chopped coriander     5 tbsp
clarified butter / oil                    1 cup
tomato                       1
poori                             as required 




method :  



  • melt clarified butter in a pan add chopped onion and sauté till it get nice golden color then add ginger garlic paste and stir for 30 seconds . add chopped potato and sauté for 3 minutes . 

  • add boiled chick peas , salt crushed cumin , garam masala crushed chilly flakes , chopped chillies , and tomato and sauté . 

  • add 1 cup of water and cover and cook till potato get cooked fully . 

  • in the end add tamarind pulp, green coriander and nigella seed , stir .cover and cook for 2 more minutes . 
  • remove in a platter and serve with poori
