stuffed potato jackets /baked potato

cooking time : 10 minutes 

preparation time : 15 minutes 

baking time : 20 minutes 











ingredients :


potato boiled                      4 to 6
oil                                         1 cup
onion                                   1 finely chopped 
ginger garlic paste             1 tsp
corns (boiled )                      1 cup
green chilly                              2 finely chopped 
black pepper powder             1/2 tsp
salt                                          1/2 tsp
oregano                              1/4 tsp
refined flour                             1 tsp
milk                                    1/4 cup
cream                                        1 tbsp
basil leafs                               2 tbsp chopped 
white sauce                           1/4 cup
oregano                                 1/4 tsp


to garnish :

oregano                                1/4 tsp
grated cheese                           1/2 cup

to serve :
tomato ketchup                     1/2 cup 




method :

to prepare filling :

  • to prepare stuffed potato jackets heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan add ginger garlic paste chopped onion and stir fry till onion get nice golden color , after that add corn pepper powder , oregano , salt , corn and refined flour , and stir continuously . 
  • add milk  cream and stir for a while and turn off the gas . 
  • in the end add basil leaf and mix well transfer this filing into a bowl and set aside . 
potato :
  • cut the potato from middle and with the help of scope make hollow in it . shown in figure . 

  • heat up 1 cup of oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the potato until light golden color ,remove in a paper and soak excess oil from it . 

assembling :


  • in a oven proof plate spread white sauce then sprinkle oregano followed by place potato and fill them with prepared corn filling .


  • there after smear white sauce again .
  • garnish it with grated cheese , oregano and ketchup . 
  • bake it in oven at 200 degree for 20 minutes . 
  • serve immediately .
