chicken bihari boti


cooking time : 20 minutes
preparation time : 15 minutes
serve: 3

ingredients :

skinless chicken               1 kg 
ginger garlic paste                 1 tbsp
salt to taste 
yogurt                              1 cup
papaya paste              1 tbsp
chilly powder              2 tbsp
fried onion                    2 tbsp
oil                                 1 cup
roasted crushed cumin              1 tsp
roasted gram ground             2 tbsp
poppy seeds roasted and grind           1 tsp
charcoal                                            1 piece
foil paper                                       1  3 inches  

to garnish :

lemon slice            1 

onion rings           few 

method :  


  • in a large mixing bowl take chicken pieces add ginger garlic paste salt , lemon juice , yogurt , papaya paste , red chilly powder , fried onion , roasted crushed cumin , roasted and ground grams , roasted and ground poppy seeds , and a cup of oil . ix all the ingredients well . and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes . 

  • after that put all the ingredients in a pan and cover and cook on slow flame for 15 minutes stir in between while cooking . 




  • place a charcoal over fire for 4 to 5 minutes and let it to get hot . 


  • now put a piece of foil paper over chicken and put the hot charcoal over it . then drop 1 tsp oil on hot charcoal immediately fog will comes out . immediately cover the pan tightly. do not allow the fog to go outs . for 10 minutes . 

  • after 10 minutes open the pan and remove the charcoal and foil paper . now stir he skin and remove in a serving platter serve with naan .
