spicy mince in cabbage bowl

cooking time : 20 minutes
preparation time : 15 minutes
serve: 5


ingredients :
beef mince                 1/2 kg 
small cabbage                    1 
salt to taste
ginger garlic paste        1 tsp
fresh chopped green chilly    2 
chilly flakes                          1 tsp
chilly powder                    1 tsp
brown sugar                        1 tsp
mushroom chopped                 1/2 cup 
white vinegar                2 tbsp
green capsicum                1/2 cup (optional)
fresh parsley               1 tbsp chopped 

to garnish :

radish slices              few
green onion leaf        few 
lemon cubes              as required 

method :  

  • in a pan heat up 4 tbsp oil add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute . 
  • after that add mutton/ beef mince and sauté 1 tsp red chilly powder , 1 tsp fresh chopped green chillies , 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms , 2 tbsp white vinegar , 1/2 tsp chilly flakes 1 tsp brown sugar , and 1 cup chopped capsicum and salt to taste . stir and cover and cook till mince get done fully . 
  • add water if required . 
  • in the end add fresh chopped parsley .

assembling :
  • take small cabbage and remove its stem gently with the help of knife . then gently remove each layer of it .
  • it will look like a mini bowl .
  • now serve each cabbage bowl  as serving platter and fill it with prepared mutton or beef mince . 
  • garnish it with green onion leafs  and radish slices . serve it with any tortilla /roti/naan.
