Almond and honey pastry












preparation time : 20 minutes /.
baking time : 15 to 20 minutes 





ingredients : 

almonds                               2 cup 
ground sugar                        1 cup
cinnamon powder                      1 tsp
melted butter                           1 cup 
orange flavor / squash            2 tbsp
pastry sheets                         4 to 7 
egg yolk                                 1 
crushed almonds                      1/2 cup 



method :





  • put 2 cups of almonds into boiling water . and cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes on slow flame .drain and peel it and allow it to cool down .

  • peel the almonds and put it into blender jar , add caster sugar (ground sugar ), 1 tsp of cinnamon powder , add melted butter and orange flavor squash . and blend it till almond become crushed finely .





  • take a pastry sheet and brush it with melted butter .  




  • place the almond mixture into corner side of pastry sheet.


  • roll the pastry sheet around the almond .and make roll .

  • brush the roll with egg yolk . 



  • take crushed almond into platter . and place roll over it and let the roll cover with crush almonds shown in picture .



  • bake it into oven at 200 degree for 15 minutes .


  • after the brush rolls with warm honey and cut into pieces serve.
