ingredients :
fresh green peas 1 cup
salt to taste
green chilly 2 to 3
potato 2 big size (chopped large size )
black cardamom 2
ginger paste 1 tsp
garlic paste 1 tsp
oil 3 tbsp
whole black pepper 5 to 6
cinnamon stick 1 inches
cloves 2 to 3
bay leaf 1
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
red chilly powder 1 tsp
coriander powder 1 tbsp
salt to taste
lemon juice 2 tsp
for garnishing :
green coriander 1 tsp
whole red chilly slices 2
method :
- in a mixture jar take fresh green peas add 3 chillies and 2 tbsp of water and grind for 1 minutes .roughly grind .we do not need paste . it must be crushed only .
- heat up 3 tbsp oil ,and 1 tbsp ghee in a pan add ginger paste , garlic paste , brown cardamom , Cinnamon stick , 5 to 6 whole black pepper, add 2 to 3 cloves , bay leaf and chopped potato pieces and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes .
- add turmeric powder , red chilly powder ,and coriander powder, salt and saute till oil comes out .
- now add 2 cup of water and cover and cook at-least 6 to 8 minutes on low flame .
- after that add 2 tsp of lemon juice in it.
- serve hot with rice .
