ingredients :
chicken pea black 1 cup soaked water over night
potato 2 medium size
salt 2 tsp
chaat masala 1 tsp
lemon juice 1 tbsp
green coriander leaf 1 tbsp
roasted cumin powder 1/2 tsp
for tempering
mustard seed 1 tsp
oil 1 tbsp
salt 1 pinch
green chilly 4 finely chopped
curry leafs 2
ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
method :
- in a pressure cooker take 2 cups of water add soaked drained chick pea (kala chana) add potato and salt .allow it to get boiled .
- drain excess water from it and set aside .
- remove potatoes too and roughly chop it .
- now for tempering heat 1 tbsp oil in a tempering pan add ginger garlic paste and curry leaf , mustard seed and green fresh chilly , and cook it for 1 minute . when mustard seed starts cracking pour this mixture into boiled chick pea and potato mixture .
- sprinkle, roasted cumin powder & chaat masala over it .
- add lemon juice and sprinkle fresh coriander leaf mix well .
- serve .
