tomato chutney


cooking time : 10-15 minutes
preparation time : 5 minutes 










ingredients :

boiled tomato                     4-6 (chopped )
onion                                 2 finely chopped 
curry leave                       5
mustard seeds                     1 tsp
cumin powder                          1/2 tsp
red chilly powder                       1/2 tsp
coriander powder                       1/4 tsp
water                                          2 tbsp
tamarind sauce                                 1 tbsp
tomato puree                                       2 tbsp
oil                                                     2 tbsp


to garnish :

curry leaf                 2




method :


  • to prepare tomato chutney heat oil in a pan add curry leaf , mustard seeds and chopped onion and stir fry till onion get light brown color .
  • add turmeric powder , red chilly powder , coriander powder , and mix well . add chopped boiled tomato and tomato puree , salt mix well and cover and cook for 3 minutes .
  • add 2 tbsp water and tamarind sauce and mix well and again cover and cook on slow heat for 3 - 4 minutes .
  • remove in a bowl and garnish with curry leaf .
