how to make haldi wala doodh (turmeric milk/golden milk )

winter season the season of snowfalls , tea party and beautiful greenery &romance every where . that is the best seasons among all peoples . but when we catch cold and cough we feel sick . no need to worry more take a cup of turmeric milk at the bed time and do some precautions say good by to cold and cough and enjoy winter season .
cooking time : 15 minutes

ingredients :


milk                      2 cup 
water                        1/4 cup 
sugar/sugar free           1 tbsp
turmeric powder             1 tsp
grated fresh ginger
dried ginger powder         1 tsp
saffron strands                (optional )to garnish .





method :
  • in a sauce pan take 2 cup of milk add turmeric powder, grated ginger (soonth/dried ginger powder  ) , 1/4 cup of water , and cook on high flame till milk get a boil . slow down flame and cook for 5 to 7 minutes more .
  • add sugar and and get a boil again pour the mixture in a serving glass and garnish with saffron strands . and serve hot immediately .

  • there are some precautions need to be taken like do not drink cold drinks , water or any thing after drinking turmeric milk .
