grilled chicken with rice



cooking time : 30 minutes
preparation time : 10 minutes 


ingredients :

skinless boneless chicken breast                300 grams ( chopped in one inches )
salt to taste
ginger garlic paste                                        1 tbsp
red chilly powder                                   1 tsp
garam masala                                         1/2 tsp
lemon juice                                     3 tbsp
hung curd                                             2 tbsp
red chilly sauce                                            2 tbsp
green chilly paste                                 1 tsp
oil                                                  1/2 cup

for rice :


boiled rice                                         2 cup
white cumin                                    1 tsp
vinegar                                              1 tbsp
star anise                                  4
oil                                               1/2 cup
kewra                                              1/2 tsp
red food color                                pinch 
green chilly                                              4 

method :


  • take boneless skin less chicken cubes in a mixing bowl add salt , red chilly powder , ginger garlic paste , gram masala powder , lemon juice , hung curd , green chilly paste ,and red chilly sauce . mix well and and set in fridge for 4 hours to marinate . 

  • brush 2 to 3 tbsp oil on griller and place the marinated chicken pieces over it . and cook . flip when one side get cooked . 

  • in a pan heat up oil add cumin seeds , star anise , and add cooked rice and sauté ,add vinegar and toss again . 

  • now put the cooked chicken over the rice , green coriander , kewra water , green chilly , food color , and 1/4 cup of water . cover and cook on very slow flame for 5 to 8 minutes . 
  • serve .
