dal makhni

cooking time : 20 minutes
preparation time : 15 minutes

ingredients :


black whole lentil                1 cup soaked in water for 30 minutes 
ginger garlic paste                1 tsp
salt to taste 
chopped onion                    1 
black kidney beans          1/4 cup
soaked in water for over night
green chilly                    1 tsp
tara garam masala                    2 tsp
red chilly powder             1 tsp
turmeric powder              1 tsp
cumin powder                 1 tsp
milk                             1/2 cup
butter                                  1 tbsp
cream                               1 tbsp
green coriander                 1   tbsp
oil                                          4 tbsp

method :  

  • in a pan add oil add chopped onion and sauté till onion get golden color add ginger garlic paste sauté for 2 minutes . 
  • add black whole lentil , red chilly powder cumin powder , turmeric powder , tara garam masala lobia(kidney bean)green chilly , and milk and cook and a cup of water cover and cook it dal (lentil get cooked )

  • after that add 1 tbsp butter and sauté . 
  • remove in a platter and garnish it with fresh creams , fresh coriander , fresh chilly and butter . 
  • serve .
