ingredients :
lobia ( red kidney beans) 1 cup (soaked in water for over night )
onion 2 chopped
carrot 1 chopped
cauliflower 1 chopped
potato 2 chopped
green peas 1/2 cup
bay leaf 2
whole pepper 5
black cardamom 1
cinnamon stick 2
curd 1 cup
cashew powder 1 tbsp
poppy seeds 1 tsp
salt to taste
grated coconut 2 tbsp
green chillies 5 chopped
oil 1/2 cup
method :
- heat up oil in a pan add chopped onion and sauté.add bay leaf , cinnamon stick , black cardamom , pepper corns .saute till onion get golden color add lobia(red kidney beans), potato ,green peas ,carrot cabbage .add salt .1/2 cup water cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on slow flame .
- add chopped green chillies .
- in a mixture jar take curd , cashew powder , grated coconuts,poppy seeds run it . mix it with the vegetables being cooked .
- again cover and cook for 8-10 minutes on slow flame .
- remove in a platter and serve .
