tawa bhindi / stuffed fried spicy okra



cooking time : 20 minutes preparation time : 20 minutes 










ingredients :


okra / bhindi                     300 gram 
tomato                              3 small size whole 
salt to taste 
oil                                  3 tbsp
green chilly              5
chaat masala           1 tbsp
curry leaf                        7
lemon juice                    4 tbsp
red chillies powder        1 tsp
coriander powder          1 tbsp
turmeric                       1 tsp
oil                                 5 tbsp
butter                                     4 tbsp
coriander leaf                        1/2 cup chopped 

preparation:
  • make cuts in bhindi(ladyfinger or okra )length wise . make cuts in tomatoes and set aside 
  • in a bowl take salt red chilly powder , chaat masala ,coriander powder , lemon juice , turmeric powder mix well . 
  • now fill the spices mixture in okra and tomatoes cuts  
method :
  • heat up oil in a pan and fry the spice filled bhindi/okra . remove in a bowl and set aside . 
  • in the same pan / tawa put tomatoes and cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes . 
  • add green chilies , butter , curry leaf and fried okra/bhindi and cover and cook on slow flame for 10 minutes . stir in between cooking to avoid burning .
  • remove in a platter and serve with rice , or with roti / naan / tortilla .
