dahi wali arbi ( arvi )/ colacasia curd curry



cooking time : 20 minutes preparation time : 10 minutes 






ingredients :

arbi / arvi/colacasia                           1/2 kg boiled
salt to taste
red chilly powder              1 ts p
ginger garlic paste             1 tsp
cumin powder                    1/2 tsp
curd                                2 cup
whole red chillies ( dried )             4
oil                                              1/2 cup
turmeric powder                           1 tsp
green chilly paste                     1 tsp
ajwain (carom seeds )                1 tsp
cumin seeds                                 1/2 tsp
onion                                      1 finely chopped
curry leaf                                  4

preparation :
  1. boil arbi with pinch of salt . peel and set aside . 
  2. now heat up oil and fry it . 
method :
  • heat oil in a pan add carom seeds , cumin seeds , and onion and curry leaf and sauté till onion get nice golden color . 
  • add ginger garlic paste ,salt ,arbi (colacasia) cumin powder , red chilly powder , and sauté  for 30 seconds . 
  • whisk  curd in a bowl and pour it into spices being cooked . add salt cover and cook for 10 minutes . 
  • remove in a serving bowl serve .
