babu shahi ki delhi biryani


cooking time : 30 minutes 

preparation time : 15 minutes 









ingredients :

mutton                 1 kg
oil                          1 cup
all spice                    2 tsp
salt to taste
ginger garlic paste           2 tbsp
yogurt                           1 cup
brown onion                     1 cup
orange food color            1 tsp
saffron strands             pinch
rice                            1 cup
whole spice                   1 tbsp


method :

  • in  a heavy bottom pressure cooker add 1 cup oil add ginger garlic paste , mutton salt and sauté for 10 minutes.
  • add 2 cups of water and pressure e cook it till the mutton get cooked .
  • in a separate bowl take curd , all spice powder , pinch of color, brown onion mix well . 
  • pour this mixture over mutton then cooked rice spread rice then pour saffron water . and cover and cook on very slow flame for 10 minutes .
  • remove in serving platter . serve hot .
