fried chicken & rice platter

 cooking time : 40 minutes 
preparation time : 15 to 30 minutes 











ingredients :

skinless chicken                    1 kg ( chopped in large pieces )
turmeric powder                    1/4 tsp
ginger garlic paste                2 tbsp
roasted cumin powder           1 tsp
coriander chilly paste             1/2 cup( about 2 cup coriander leaf and 10 green                                                                     chillies)
lemon juice                            2 tbsp
tomato paste                              2
salt to taste

others :
bread crumbs                 1 cup
oil to fry
eggs                                    2

method :


  • in a large mixing bowl take chicken ,turmeric powder , ginger garlic paste , roasted cumin powder , lemon juice , green coriander and chilly paste , tomato paste , mix all the ingredients with chicken and allow it to marinate for at-least 1 hour . 

  • now place it in a pan and cook on slow flame for 5 to 8 minutes on slow flame . (do not add water )
  • now take bread crumbs in a platter and place the cooked chicken in it and coat it with bread crumbs . 

  • whisk the eggs in a separate bowl and dip the coated chicken and deep fry in a oil till chicken get golden brown color . 

note : u can eat chicken as a starter too .




rice platter .

basmati rice                    2 cups ( boiled )
yogurt                                1 cup
green peas boiled               1/2 cup
salt
oil                                   1/4 cup
fried onion                          1 cup
garam masala                       1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste                   1 tsp
boiled potato and fried                          3
kewra water                                   1 tsp



  • in a pan a heat up oil add fried onion , green chillies , ginger garlic paste , and boiled rice and stir . 
  • add curd , fried potato peas ,kewra water ,curd  and stir gently .
  • remove in a platter and place fried chicken over it .  serve a royal lavish dish . 

to boil rice :

yellow food color                pinch
basmati rice                              2 cups soaked in water .
whole green cardamom                    2
whole black pepper                           1 tsp
salt to taste .

  • boil rice with all the written ingredients for boiling and cook till rice get cooked 90% .
