khopre ka halwa / nariyal ka halwa / coc☺nut pudding



cooking time : 15 to 20 minutes
preparation time : 10 minutes 








ingredients :


full cream milk                        1 liter 
sugar                                        250 gram/ 1/2 cup
khoya    / mawa                       1 cup
grated coconut                            2 cup
green food color                          pinch 
semolina                                    1/2 cup
cardamom powder                       1 tsp
saffron strands                              pinch (optional)
kewra essense                                 few drops
roasted mix nuts                       1 cup ( optional )
silver pepper (chandi ka warak )                          1 (optional)



method :
  • in a pan dry roast semolina for 4 to 5 minutes on slow flame . remove in a bowl and set aside . 
  • in the same pan add milk , sugar and khoya ,cardamom powder and and mix all the ingredients well . 
  • add green food color and again mix well .
  • now add roasted semolina and stir continuously .cook on slow flame .for 5 to 10 minutes . till milk get soaked by semolina .
  • add grated coconut ( khopra )nuts ,kewra essence
    . and saffron strands .
  • remove in a serving platter and garnish with silver warak ( silver paper )
