ingredients :
ladyfinger 16 to 20 washed and chopped in one inch pieces
tomato 2 finely chopped
ginger paste 1/2 tsp
garlic paste 1 tsp
red chilly powder 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder 1 tsp
curry leaf 2 to 3
coriander powder 1 tbsp
cumin powder 1/2 tsp
cumin seed 1 tbsp
onion 1 finely chopped
green chilly 3 finely chopped
salt to taste
oil 3 tbsp
sesame seed to garnish
fresh coriander to garnish
method :
- heat up a pan add 2 tbsp oil and fry the lady finger remove in a plate and set a side .
- in a same pan add 2 tbsp oil and cumin seed sauté for 30 sec add turmeric powder and chopped anion sauté till onion get finely light brown color add curry leaf .
- add chopped tomato ,salt chopped green chilly , red chilly powder ,coriander powder , cumin powder , and cover pan for 5 minutes on low heat .
- add fried lady finger and sauté till the spices get mix well with lady finger .
- add few drops of water and again cover the pan for 5 minutes more on very slow flame .
- remove in a serving plate . garnish with green coriander leaf and sesame seed .
- serve hot
