desi murg masala / chicken curry

cooking time : 20 minutes
preparation time : 15 minutes  

ingredients :

skin less chicken                     1 kg 
ginger garlic paste                  1.5 tbsp
button red chillies                        7
vinegar                                   1 tbsp
green chilly paste                  1 tsp
chopped tomatoes                            2
curd                                        1/2 cup
chopped green chillies               5
fresh coriander                       1 cup chopped 
rushed cumin                        1 tsp
bay leaf                                         2
onion                                   3 sliced
whole black pepper                  8
turmeric                                     1 tsp


method :
  • in a large mixing bowl take chicken pieces add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste salt , turmeric powder , bay leaf , fried onion , vinegar crushed cumin , turmeric and chilly paste mix well and set aside for 30 minutes . 
  • heat oil in a pan add button red chilies and stir for a while add marinated chicken and sauté till oil comes oil then add tomato , curd and cover and cook for 10 more minutes on slow flame.
  • in the end add fresh coriander and serve with rice or with naan , roti etc
