aloo matar paneer ( potato cheese peas dish )





Preparation time : 5 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes 









ingredients :


potato         1 cup peeled chopped in cubes
green peas            1/2 cup
cheese cubes         100 grams
fresh ginger            1 inch
garlic                      6 to 6 cloves
onion                       1 cuted
roasted peanut paste    1/4 cup
green chilly                   4 to 5
salt to taste
red chilly powder         1 tsp
turmeric powder           1/2 tsp
coriander powder          1/2 tsp
garam masala powder             1/ 2 tsp
cumin seed                        1 tsp
tomato puree                      1 cup
oil                                   3 tbsp



method :

  • in a mixer grinder take roughly chopped  onion ginger garlic , green chilly , water make fine paste . remove in bowl .

  •  heat up pan  . add cumin seed , and prepared mixture of onion paste fry for 3 minutes and add tomato puree.
  • stir well , add red chilly powder , turmeric powder , coriander powder , salt and potato cubes , mix well for 1 minute .
  • add green peas, peanut paste ,and mix well .
  • add 1/ 2 cup water and cover the pan . cook for 10 minutes .
  • add garam masala . and cheese cubes sauté .
  • remove in a serving bowl .
  • serve hot with chapati or tortilla .
