curry pakode

preparation time :nil
cooking time :30 minutes 


























ingredients :

  7 to 10 tablespoon  gram flour ( besan )
1/2 liter natural plain yogurt  ( dahi )
4 to 5 curry leaf
4 red  dried chilly
2 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp garlic paste
 1 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
 oil
salt to taste



preparation :



  • in a heavy bottomed pan take yogurt and mix well . now slightly start adding besan( gram flour ) and keep mix well .till it get smooth fine paste .. 
  • add one cup of water and mix well add garlic paste , ginger paste ,and turmeric powder , chilly powder ,cumin powder , salt ... mix well
  • cook it on medium flame till 20 minuets and cover the pan  cook it till it get slightly thick mixture .






  • now on the medium flame in a diffident small fry pan heat up  4 tsp oil . add curry leaf , mustard seed . red dried  chilly (full sized ) . 
  • now put all these oil in curry . cook for 5 minutes .and off the flame .


for pakoda :


ingredients :

onion  chopped 3 big size
chopped green coriander 2 tsp
chopped green chilly  4
turmeric 1 tsp
gram flour  4 table spoon
salt to taste
baking soda 1 tsp
red chilly powder 1/2 tsp



preparation :




mix all the above in ingredients in..  add 1/2 cup water mix well for 10 minutes .. and set a side for 15 minutes ...take small amount of that mixture and fry it in oil ..  remove it till it get  red color ...
finally add this ball into curry garnish it with a pinch of red chilly powder and green coriander   and serve with steam rice .
