paneer makhani (spicy cheese gravy )

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time :  30 minutes 


































ingredients :

paneer/cottage cheese                       200 gm
tomato puree                       2 cup
butter                                      2 tsp
ginger paste                             1 tsp
garlic paste                              2 tsp
cumin seed                             1/4 tsp
red chilly powder                   1 tsp
coriander powder                   1 tsp
cumin powder                         1 tsp 
salt to taste
tomato ketchup                         1 tsp
sugar                                      1/2 tsp
water                                     1 cup
milk cold                                 1/4 cup
fenugreek leaves                  1 tsp
gram masala                        1/2 tsp
cream                                 2 tsp
green chilly                           1( to garnish )



preparation :





  • in a big pan  heat up butter . add ginger garlic paste , 1/4 cumin seeds. avoid burning .
  • put flame on low . add red chilly powder , cumin powder , salt , coriander powder, add tomato puree .mix well 


  • add 1/2 sugar , and 1 big size tomato catchup . cook this for 7 minutes . till mixture remove oil .
  • add up water 1/4 cup .
  • add  paneer  mix well . 
  • add 1/4 cup milk . (milk must be cold )


  • add kasoori methi (fenugreek leaves ).and  garam masala . gently handle the mixture .remove in a serving plater garnish with coriander leaf and green chilly 


  • 2 big spoon cream ... ready to serve with bread
