kaleji fry (spicy mutton liver)

Preparation time : 5 minutes
Cooking time :  30 minutes 






ingredient :


kaleji ( mutton liver )                 1/2 kg cut in cubes
curd                                 1 cup
onion                                1  big size chopped
giner paste                         1 tbsp
garlic paste                         1 tbsp
coriander powder                1 tsp
turmeric powder                   1 tsp
cumin powder                      1 tsp
red chilly powder                  1 tsp
green chilly                          3
garam masala                       1 tsp
green coriander leaf              1 cup
 gram flour       1 tbsp
oil  / butter                            4 tbsp
salt to taste


preparation :



cut the liver in small cube like shape and wash it with water . remove water from it and add 1 tbsp gram flour in it mix well leave it for  5 minutes .

now again wash the liver in running water and drain it for 10 minutes . now its ready to cook .




method :


  • in a pan heat up oil . add chopped onion in it and let it turn nice golden color . remove in bowl .
  • in a same pan add liver and sauté liver for 3 minutes .
  • add ginger paste , garlic paste and sauté for 5 minutes .
  • add cup of curd and sauté on medium flame for 5 more minutes .
  • now take a mixture jar add  fried onion , 2 green chilly . half of green coriander and make a fine paste.
  • now add this onion coriander paste in the pan and sauté 
  • add 1 tsp coriander powder , cumin powder, turmeric powder, bay leaf ,and red chilly powder and mix well with spoon .
  • add half cup water and cover the pan for 10 minutes cook on slow flame .
  • open the pan and continue sauté for 10 minutes till oil comes out . then add 1 cup water cook for 5 minutes more .
  • remove in serving plate and garnish with green chilly and coriander leaf
  • serve with naan .
